Keith has over 25 years’ experience in senior corporate roles leading strategic change across large, complex, international businesses in mining and oil & gas.
Keith spent 18 years with Rio Tinto with roles in line business leadership, investment analysis and strategy. He held roles with direct P&L leadership of >$1bn pa businesses and also led major strategic transformation and post- merger integration programs. He has extensive C-Suite and Board exposure and broad international experience. More recently, Keith was Head of Corporate Strategy for BG Group, a major UK oil & gas producer. He worked directly with the CEO and Board on Group-wide strategy reviews and led BG’s first China Strategy. Keith has coached senior leaders across the industrial sector including in Shell, Centrica, Vodafone, Unilever, GSK, Thales, Apollo Tyres and Abbvie Pharmaceuticals.
Keith’s coaching style is empathic, incisive and results oriented. Keith is passionate about helping leaders develop skills and style that are effective and authentic so they can flourish and deliver superior performance. Keith believes that sustainable transformational change requires leaders to reflect on their underlying motivations and drivers and that this ‘Inner Game’ work complements the ‘Outer game’ work of developing new leadership skills. Keith sees himself as a coach/mentor, spanning these two areas and leveraging his 25 years of leadership experience to bring greater insight & challenge to his coaching and greater value to his clients. Keith loves coaching leaders grappling with complex strategic issues, transitioning into new roles and leading transformational change. He also enjoys coaching teams to become more effective, build an inclusive culture and gain clarity and insights about their core mission and strategy.
