Laine Cohen

Executive Coach | Executive Development | Leading Change

Laine brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience navigating the complexities that come with enterprise-scale responsibility. As former Global Head of Learning for HR at Citi and North America Head of Leadership and Executive Development, she has lived the pressures her clients face, from leading large teams through transformation, stepping into expanded scope, making high-stakes decisions with incomplete information and driving change across matrixed, global organizations.

Today, Laine partners with senior leaders and leadership teams as an executive and team coach, helping them navigate inflection points, lead with greater clarity and confidence and make progress on the challenges that matter most. She is known for creating a space that is both supportive and challenging where executives can tackle difficult issues, strengthen their leadership impact and move forward when they feel stuck.

Leaders value Laine’s ability to listen deeply, draw unexpected connections, and illuminate blind spots that unlock new ways of leading. She serves as a trusted thought partner to those facing organizational transformation, expanded roles, and the complexities of leading at scale.

Beyond individual coaching, Laine works with intact leadership teams to build alignment, improve dynamics, and accelerate collective performance. She designs and facilitates leadership offsites and development experiences that help teams gain strategic clarity, strengthen trust, and commit to action.

Laine has been a member of Marshall Goldsmith’s 100 Coaches community since its inception and served on the faculty of the Accelerating Coaching Excellence (ACE) program with Coaching.com. She serves on the Board of GC4W (Global Connections for Women) and is a mentor with iMentor, supporting first-generation students in achieving their educational and career ambitions. She has been featured on The Coaching Habit Podcast, Work and Life Podcast, and in Inc Magazine.

Laine is an ICF-certified coach and holds an M.B.A. in HR Management from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
